DAVAO City–The annual Kadayawan 2013 Cyclomax Motocross is set this Sunday, Aug. 18 at the MotoX Davao race track inside the Davao Crocodile Park in Ma-a diversion highway.
Organizer Bok Mata of MotoX Davao said that at least 150 riders from all over the country are expected to show their wares at the challenging race track.
Top-caliber Jovie Saulog of Manila, Ambo Yapparcon of Palawan and crowd-favorite Bornok Mangosong are all arriving for Team Mafoko.
They will expect a strong challenge from the hometown bet Team Phoenix headed by Jeven Lagrada and composed also of the Pineda brothers Kimboy and Jesse Pineda, the Mata brothers Abu and Luis, Michael Tapic, Tristan Galanto and Bonjo Lagrada.
Also seeing action is the Team 125 of General Santos City skippered by Glenn Lapuz and assisted by John Almerino. Also expected are Shawn Lim of Davao, Ralph Bayhon of Antipas, Cotabato and Doyskie Bandigan of Mati City.
This year’s motocross competition is presented by Phoenix Cyclomax Motorcycle Oils and sponsored by Kurmat, Sign Factor, Sankai Japanese Restaurant, KTM, Nanay Bebeng Restaurant, Nature’s Spring, Suzuki, Honda, Toyota, 95.5 FM, Lipovitan, San Miguel Beer, Kamikaze Motorcycle Club, Sumifru, JVF Commercial, Mac’s Cycle and RCBC Savings Bank.
