Panabo City Strengthens Programs, Works and Financial Implementation

PANABO CITY, DAVAO DEL NORTE – Panabo City Mayor Engr. James G. Gamao has strengthened the 2015 Programs, Works and Financial Implementation during the Three-day Programs Implementation Review of 2014 at Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City last February 11-13, 2015.

City Planning and Development Coordinator Aurora Lauron explained the reasons for having a review of the 2014 programs and that is to address and verify its issues, concerns, policies. They also tackled on how its funds and programs were implemented in the previous years.

The key areas were focused on anti-corruption, poverty reduction, rapid and sustainable economic growth, social improvement, good governance; budget expenditures where among others that have been clarified.

The outcome of the said event will be part of the report on the upcoming State of the City Address (SOTCA) of Mayor Gamao for this coming March 23, 2015. This will give him a bird’s eye view on his thrust and guide his move towards good governance especially in 2016.

The first two days, every department presented their accomplishment reports while works and financial plan 2016 were presented during the last day, exit conference.

City elected officials both executive and legislative were present to participate the said event, including the DILG Head, Danilo Hernandez and the newly appointed executive secretary Engr. Judith Lee. (CIO Panabo)
