PASUNGKO Trade Fair 2013: PPP Focused Initiatives

Oroquieta City – The opening of the Pasungko Trade Fair of the province celebrations on its 84th Founding Year and the 4th Pasungko Sig’ MisOcc Festival does not only promotes the 14 towns economic activity with the growth of its three cities of Ozamiz, Oroquieta, and Tangub but focused on the Aquino Administration’s PPP Initiatives or the Public Private Partnership.
Public Private Partnership initiatives is a pet project of the Aquino government in order to strengthen the relation of the government and its private sector which local government is now practicing to promote economic stability.
By such, transparency and good governance thru these initiatives with each other sector is the key of accelerating economic stability especially with the local government units. With the Private Sector participation in any activity will certainly put the local government into its right foot forward.
With the GO HERMIE Agenda of Governor Hermie Ramiro it always tapped the Provincial Office of the Department of Trade and Industry to be its partner not only achieving these programs of the national government but to help in promoting the economic programs of Misamis Occidental to become more visible and to help each local government units under her administration to cope with DTI advancement programs in small and large scale business opportunities.
In today’s Pasungko Trade Fair on its 84th Founding year, LGU’s of Misamis Occidental are not only focusing with their OTOP or One Town One Product program an initiative of DTI but also promoting its Agriculture, Fishery, and other local produce.
On her part, Provincial Officer Delia Ayano of DTI Misamis Occidental is proud and thankful to the full support of Misamis Occidental to its initiatives and programs,
“Yes I am so proud that with administration of Governor Hermie Ramiro thru her GO HERMIE Initiatives Misamis Occidental, our office achieves its priorities in helping local business and economic stakeholders and thru the PPP Program, the province will become an economic Tiger of Northern Mindanao and with the support also of partner the Department of Tourism, especially the region’s DOT Office and other national agencies it is a go, go, go for Misamis Occidental.” She said.
