Retired constable shoots 3 persons over land conflict

CAMP RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Family feud arising from a land conflict is seen to be the motive in the shooting of three persons at San Antonio Barangay Kapatungan, Trento, Agusan del Sur, over the weekend.
Police identified the victims as Rene Gillo-Ano Georlin, 34 years old; Maria Nerissa Georlin Junatas, 48 years old; and Nelly Gillo-Ano Georlin, 74 years old, all of said barangay.
The suspect, retired Philippine Constabulary member Nestor Primaylon Jaranilla, 64 years old, ‘severally’ shot the victims with a shotgun, while his wife, Elena Jaranilla, had a heated argument with one of the victims, Jose Georlin. The other victims were simply pacifying the trouble.
The suspect fled towards unknown direction on board a black Honda XRM 125 motorcycle, while personnel from the Agusan del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory Office have recovered seven fired cartridge case of shotgun at the crime scene.
